"Creativity has always been a part of who I am."
I graduated from high school in Flagler, Colorado, and went on to attend The Art Institute, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Through my design work under BMM Designs, I have been able to bring my passion for visual storytelling, branding, and creative expression to life. After completing my education, I made the decision to move back home to help on our family farm—returning to my roots and becoming part of a multi-generational farming operation.
My husband, Justin, and I now own and operate our farm in Cheyenne and Kit Carson Counties, where we are raising our three amazing children. For the past 13 years, much of my life has been centered around motherhood, farming, and supporting our kids in their school and community activities. While that season has been incredibly meaningful, it has also inspired me to rediscover and refocus on my own creative passions.
As I returned to art and design, I realized how many people—especially in rural communities—are busy, hardworking, and creative at heart, but rarely make time for themselves. That realization inspired me to create a welcoming, supportive space where people can slow down, create, and reconnect with their creativity.
I also felt strongly about giving other local artists and makers a place to shine—helping them share their talents, tell their stories, and grow their businesses. Supporting fellow creatives and building community has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
Balancing my time between my children, our farm, my art, my design work through BMM Designs, and community involvement keeps life full and purposeful. While time is always my biggest challenge, it is also what makes every creative moment more valuable.
Looking ahead, I am committed to continuing to grow as an artist and designer. I am currently expanding my skills and pursuing certification as an Art Therapy Practitioner, allowing me to further support creativity, wellness, and emotional expression through art.
Through my work, I hope to encourage others—no matter how busy life gets—to take time for themselves, create boldly, and feel connected to something meaningful.
