Built to Be Reimagined

PLR creates one-of-a-kind powder-coated metal pieces through refurbishing and upcycling items brought in by customers. Each project begins with an existing piece and ends with a custom finish—designed to match a specific vision inspired by the customer, the item itself, or a creative spark in the moment (often with input from my wife and her friend).

The journey started as a mobile sandblasting service and grew naturally into powder coating to meet a local need. From there, the work expanded into rims and car parts before evolving into full refurbishing and upcycling projects that give overlooked items new life.

Inspiration comes from the customers and the endless possibilities hidden in worn or forgotten pieces. The process is simple but meaningful: turn up the music, focus in, and create. The name PLR comes from my wife’s and my initials—chosen to build something lasting we can pass down to our children. And if there’s one thing to know about me, it’s this: I love cars, especially the old ones.
